Adam Strange has been fu**ing around with painting his whole life. At 16 he was introduced to Hollywood film composer Danny Elfman who found Strange's work impressive enough to enlist him as an illustrator and animator for the now defunct cult rock band Oingo Boingo. Strange has since enjoyed a successful career as an artist and illustrator and has recently entered the realm of independent filmmaking by writing, directing, and producing his own short film entitled D equals R times T. The film has screened at Slamdance Film Festival, Ocularis, P.S.1, ifilm.com, and The Cannibal Flower, Push, and Silverlake Film Festivals.
With the success of his short film, Strange has grabbed the attention of several production companies including indie film giant Shooting Gallery Inc. (You Can Count On Me, Sling Blade, The Minus Man, Henry Fool, Niagara Niagara, and Laws of Gravity) with a unique sci-fi-ish feature film he's penned entitled The Judas Event. While Strange's manager searches for a home for this intriguingly bizarre material, Strange continues to evolve as a painter and storyteller. Currently Strange is working on a couple of his own independent film projects while he continues to fu** around with imagery in every way possible.
