my official bio: Corey George was born in 1975 in Greenwood, SC where he lived on his paternal grandparents farm. In 1994, he left the rural south to attend Memphis College of Art. He graduated with a BFA cum laude in Photography in 1998 and was awarded the Dolph and Jessie Smith Emeritus Award, given to only one graduating student each academic year. In 1999 he returned to the rural south to attend the University of Georgia at Athens, where he graduated in May 2002 with an MFA in Photography. Corey?s work has been described as elegiac and lyrical. His work mixes aspects of traditional photography and book arts with video and digital media, and deals with the poor usage of the landscape. His work has been exhibited throughout the south and internationally in the United Kingdom, Italy and Australia. He currently splits his time between shooting in Georgia and teaching in New York at Long Island University at Southampton. Klik naar het fields project.

The first case of "bluetongue" disease has been detected in France, the French Agriculture Ministry said on Thursday. The case was detected in a cow in the Ardennes region in northeast France. The infected cow presented weak symptoms, which are not dangerous to human beings, said the ministry. France has reported the case to the European Commission and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). The concerned animal has been put under control. The strain of bluetongue, a virus that is deadly to sheep, isbelieved to come from sub-Saharan Africa, according to the European Commission. The disease is characterized by inflammation of the mucous membranes, congestion, swelling and haemorrhage. Sheep are generally the worst affected, while cattle and goats do not usually show any clinical signs of the disease but can carry the virus for a certain period of time and transmit it to sheep, EU veterinary experts said. The French government has put livestock under surveillance since August 28, when outbreaks of bluetongue were detected in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Since a young age Jeff Soto has been captivated by the visual arts. He credits early exposure to the work of artists Mercer Mayer and Patrick Woodroffe as stimuli for his creativity. When he was 15 he began to dabble in the art of graffiti, which he credits as a major influence in his art. Jeff's work has been shown in galleries across the US and internationally. He graduated with Distinction from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is a recovering Cactus-aholic and lives in Riverside, California.

Tsja....hoezo slim???

Een vader komt in de slaapkamer van zijn dochter en ziet een
brief op het bed liggen. Na enige aarzeling besluit hij de brief te lezen.

Liefste Papa,

Ga even zitten als je dit leest. Het is met pein in mijn hard dat ik je vertel dat ik er zo plotseling op uit ben getroken met mijn nieuwe toffe vriend. Ik ben pasioneel verliefd en het is best een vriendeleike jongen, ondanks zijn piersings, tatoeasjes en zijn groote moter. Dat is nog niet alles; ik ben in verwagting en Ahgmed zegt dat we heel gelukkig worden in de kamer van zijn tijdeleike onderhuuradres bij de broer van zijn vaders tante. Hij wil veel kinderen en zoals je weet is dat ook mijn grootste droom en die sluier is echt handig tegen de zon en
tegen de vliegjes...

Ik leerde reeeds dat marihuana niet verslafend is en we hebben besloten het zelf te gaan kweeken, voor ons en onze
vrienden. Ahgmed is al aktief als tussenhandelaar in kokaiene en XTC en dus ook ons eigen productiebedrijfje. We
zijn echt goed bezig hoor! Het geld hebben we hard nodig want we zijn nog jong en we gebruiken zelv ook een klijn
beetje koke en XTC en dat spul is hartstikke duur hoor, haast niet te betalen.

Je zegt altijd dat je van de liefde niet kunt leven, maar omdat Ahgmed geregeld een paar zeer goede vrienden uitnodigt kan ik toch ook wat meebetalen... Ik vraag je verder te bidden dat de wetensgap snel iets mag vinden tegen eeds, zodat mijn Ahgmed toch nog kan geneezen. En papa, wees vooral niet ongerust, ik ben toch al 14 en kan
al heel goet voor mezelf zorgen. Over een paar jaar zal ik je komen op zoeken zodat je al je
kleinkinderen kunt bewonderen.

Gekke papa, dit briefje is natuurlijk een grapje! Ik ben
spelen bij Hannelore en wil allen maar bewijzen dat er veel
