2DO Before I Die aims to spark conversation and encourage the exchange of ideas about what's important and what's possible. What began as a conversation between two friends has extended surprisingly far afield, spread by email and word of mouth amongst friends, family and visitors to the site. Last year we received hundreds of stories, a selection of which we collected into the 2DO book, published this Summer in the US and Canada. For us, over the past couple of years, 2DO has ironically become our own 'do or die' project, demanding resources, time, and effort we didn't know we had. Its had its own share of ups and downs (lot of long days, no cash) but it has never failed to be interesting.
