Esther Sparks landed in the U.S from her native Scotland, in 1996. She arrived in Atlanta Georgia, invited to play a festival for the summer; there she met the man she was to marry and has been in the States since. She currently resides in New Orleans, with her husband and three children. Over the last nine years, in-between babies, she has played all over Louisiana, Texas, Alabama and of course Scotland. In the Big Easy she has enjoyed the welcome of the musical community, playing with friends like Mike West and Katie Euliss (Truckstop Honeymoon), Grayson Capps, Gina Forsyth, Laura Freeman and many others.
