Richard Mosse was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1980 and grew up in County Kilkenny. Following a BA in English Literature and a Masters in Cultural Studies from the London Consortium, Mosse pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art from Goldsmiths before finally earning an MFA in Photography from Yale University School of Art. His work has been exhibited at the Akademie der Kunst, The Aperture Foundation, Barbican Art Gallery, Houston’s Fotofest 2010 Biennial, Kunsthalle Munich, and Tate Modern.
